43rd Copa del Rey MAPFRE Schedule Announced – Notice of Race Published

The Real Club Náutico de Palma and the Real Federación Española de Vela have released the Notice of Race for the upcoming 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE 2025, ahead of schedule. This year’s event is set to include the ORC European Championships, marking it as one of the most significant Mediterranean regattas of the decade.
The official opening day will take place on Saturday, 26th July, featuring the traditional ‘cutting of the ribbon’ ceremony, which will be attended by local and regional authorities, the regatta’s main sponsor, and the president of the Real Club Nautico de Palma. Racing will commence on Tuesday, 29th July, and conclude on Saturday, 2nd August. The prize-giving ceremony will be held on the final day at Ses Voltes, situated at the foot of the Palma cathedral, and will be presided over by HM King Felipe.
Manu Fraga, the director of the Real Club Nautico de Palma, expressed excitement for the event, stating, “We are expecting the 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE to be the most important in the history of the regatta, with the celebration of the ORC European Championships.”
