The iQFOiL Open European Championship 2024 in Cagliari is well underway, with challenging conditions on Day Two. The 120 athletes faced light and tricky winds, resulting in delays to the start of the races.
The Women’s fleet saw U23 Norwegian sailor Maya Gysler dominate by winning all four Slalom races. Islay Watson (GBR) leads the provisional standings, while Daniela Peleg (ISR) holds onto second place. In the Men’s fleet, Italian sailor Luca Di Tomassi claimed victory in both Slalom races, securing the top spot in the rankings.
