Merlin Rocket Women’s Championship 2024 at Parkstone Yacht Club
The Merlin Rocket Women’s Championship 2024 took place at Parkstone Yacht Club on 14-15 September 2024. The event brought together female sailors from various classes and featured exciting racing over the weekend.
The training day was led by experienced sailors Mike and Jane Calvert, Graham Williamson, and Chris Gould. Participants had the opportunity to hone their sailing skills and learn from some of the best in the sport.
The event also included a special talk by Olympic sailor Sarah Ayton, providing insights into her successful career and achievements in sailing. The competitive racing on Sunday saw impressive performances from all participants, with close battles and challenging conditions on the water.
Congratulations to Mary Henderson and Pippa Kilsby for securing first place in the overall standings, followed by Caroline Gould and Livvy Bell in second and Rebecca Videlo and Megan Pascoe in third.
