Competitors enjoyed post-race pasta and hot showers, with added incentives like beers for the first boat to the windward mark.
Throughout the event, various races were held each day, with different winners emerging in varying wind conditions. Overall, Nathan Batchelor and Rob Holmes from Tynemouth SC emerged as the Noble Marine Albacore National Champions. Other notable performances included Judy and Paul Armstrong from Scaling Dam SC finishing in second place, and Michael McNamara and Colin Gardiner in third place. Allan Tyler and Richard Frost won the European Championship mini series.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony where the winners were recognized, and thanks were given to the organizers, sponsors, and volunteers who made the event possible.
