The Noble Marine RS700 National Championship 2024 took place at Hayling Island sailing Club from 12-15 September. The final day saw challenging conditions with 10 knots of wind and choppy waves. Rob Higgins secured the win in race nine, with James Clark and Matt Carter closely behind. In race ten, James Clark claimed victory, but Matt Carter’s consistent performance earned him second place overall. The event also featured a raffle in support of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, with an RS700 spinnaker as the prize. Hayling Island sailing Club, Noble Marine, Fernhurst Books, and Rooster were among the sponsors, ensuring a successful event for all participants.
