The second day of the Volvo China Coast regatta 2024 saw perfect sailing conditions with a breeze of 18-20 kts under a beautiful blue sky. The racers faced challenging windward/leeward courses testing both tactics and boat handling. Exciting races unfolded with tight mark roundings and close finishes.
Various divisions, including IRC Racer, PHS, and IRC Premier, participated in today’s races. Notable performances included Rampage 88 leading the IRC Racer 0 division, Nick Burn’s Witchcraft dominating IRC Racer 2, and Admiralty Harbour Whiskey Jack taking the lead in IRC Racer 3.
In the PHS division, DBX2 and Blowers Daughter had a strong showing, while Fenice and Moonblue 2 battled it out in the IRC Premier division. The day ended with a lively Mount Gay party, setting the stage for the final day of racing tomorrow.
