The 22nd edition of the Rolex Swan Cup is set to begin tomorrow at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo, Italy. A total of 101 boats from Nautor Swan have signed up for the event, which is organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in collaboration with Rolex. This year marks 40 years of partnership between the two organizations.

The regatta features a mix of racing-oriented ClubSwan One Design boats and yachts designed for long-distance sailing. The fleet includes a wide range of models, from heritage vessels to modern cruisers and maxis. Owners and crews from around the world will be participating in the event, with boats coming from Europe, Asia, America, Australia, and Africa.

New to the regatta this year is the ClubSwan 28, the smallest model ever built by Nautor Swan. Owners of larger Swan models have also shown interest in this new class. Racing will include windward-leeward courses for the ClubSwan 28 and ClubSwan 36 classes, as well as coastal races around the La Maddalena archipelago for the larger models.

Competitors will enjoy daily refreshments in Piazza Azzurra and special dinners throughout the week. Racing is scheduled to start on Tuesday, with favorable weather conditions expected. The Rolex Swan Cup will conclude on Saturday after five days of exciting competition.
