60th Edition of Rolex Big Boat Series to See Hundreds of Sailors Compete
The 60th edition of the Rolex Big Boat Series is set to take place at St. Francis Yacht Club on iconic San Francisco Bay from September 11-15, 2024. With 71 boats and nearly 700 sailors expected to participate, the event promises thrilling competition in various classes.
Organizers are excited about the strong turnout in one design classes and ORC divisions, welcoming members and guests to join the action both on the water and shoreside. The event will feature top talent competing for prestigious trophies and Rolex timepieces.
Perennial champions like Ryan Simmons on Blackhawk are gearing up for tough competition in the J/105 class, while other contenders like Tim Russell on NeNe are looking to challenge for the top spot. In the ORC division, Peter Wagner on Skeleton Key is ready to defend his title against a competitive field.
