2024 Noble Marine RS800 National Championship at Hayling Island Sailing Club
The Noble Marine RS800 National Championship 2024 at Hayling Island sailing Club kicked off with an atmospheric day of racing. The weather provided a mix of sunshine, rain showers, and shifting winds, creating challenging conditions for the sailors. Despite the cold Northerly wind, the racing was intense and competitive.
In the first race, Rob Gullan and Tom Partington took an early lead, followed closely by other top teams. The second race saw Tom and Tommy taking control early on and maintaining their lead until the finish. The final race of the day was a close battle, with Monique Vennis-Ozanne and Hugh Shone managing to clinch the win in the end.
