The Bay of Palma is set to host the Sandberg Estates J/70 Worlds from 13-22 September 2024. The event will see the top 100 international teams compete in the prestigious J/70 class. The official training race on Monday will give the fleet a chance to prepare before the main competition kicks off.
The J/70 is a popular One Design fleet known for its speed, agility, and competitiveness. With nearly two thousand boats sold in 30 countries, the class continues to grow in popularity. Argentine sailor Guillermo Parada, skipper of “Nildo,” will be competing in the event and is looking forward to the challenge.
The training race on Monday will be a first contact for the fleet, allowing them to gauge their competition before the official races begin. The competition will take place on one of the best racecourses in the world, providing a challenging and exciting environment for the sailors.
