European Championship Fireball at Unione Velica Maccagno
The Fireball European Championship at Unione Velica Maccagno – Day 2 took place on 14-20 September 2024. The fleet experienced a delay due to a lack of morning breeze, leading to a postponement. Eventually, a light southerly breeze filled in, but then disappeared, causing competitors to paddle back to shore. Despite hopes of wind associated with severe weather systems, racing was ultimately called off for the day. DJ Edwards and Vyv Townend remain in the lead.
