UniCredit Youth America’s Cup kicks off: Orient Express Racing Team focused on present & future
The young and talented French sailors are gearing up for the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup, which can also pave the way for the 37th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup and beyond. Orient Express Racing Team has been actively involved in nurturing their Youth and Women’s squads.
The six-member Youth squad, aged between 18 and 25, underwent a rigorous selection process in collaboration with various sailing entities. Led by skipper Enzo Balanger, the team is eager to hit the water and showcase their skills.
Alongside Enzo, the squad boasts accomplished sailors like Ange Delerce, Lou Mourniac, Matisse Pacaud, Théo Revil, and Gaultier Tallieu, each bringing a unique set of skills and achievements to the table.
Orient Express – L’Oréal Racing Team will compete in the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup, facing a competitive fleet of teams in the Qualification Series before aiming for the final Match Race for the coveted trophy on 26 September.
The crew lineup includes Matisse Pacaud and Gaultier Tallieu on port, and Enzo Balanger, Théo Revil on starboard, all set to make their mark in the upcoming races.
