Scottish RS Feva Race Training at Royal Tay Yacht Club: Improve Your Skills on the Water

The Scottish RS Feva race training at Royal Tay Yacht Club is set to take place on 21-22 September 2024. The event is part of RYA Scotland’s National Academy program, leading up to the Scottish Hosted Nationals event in Dalgety Bay.

The weekend training event saw 16 boats and 32 young sailors hitting the water in great conditions, with coaches Graeme Rowe and Jamie Rogers leading the session. The sailors were kept fueled by a friendly catering team, while parents enjoyed the shoreside atmosphere.

The training sessions included sprint races and longer runs, with tight competition among the sailors. Beyond the racing, the focus was on fun, friendships, teamwork, and the sense of community that make the Scottish Feva Fleet special. The event aims to attract more Feva sailors in Scotland to join the fun and grow the fleet.
