Alinghi Red Bull Racing‘s Youth team kicked off the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup with a thrilling Day 1 of racing. Light winds caused delays, but eventually, two races took place before technical issues hindered the Swiss crew in the second race. The remaining races are rescheduled for tomorrow morning.
The Alinghi Red Bull Racing team faced challenging conditions, finishing fifth in the first race and encountering technical difficulties in the second. Despite the setbacks, they are geared up for the upcoming races.
Skipper Jann Schüpbach expressed excitement for the races and readiness to give their best. Project Manager Coraline Jonet highlighted the team’s progress in boat handling and the unfortunate technical issue that sidelined them in the second race.
