I still say "pressure" is a bullshit pseudo-technical term. It's not pressure! It's wind! OK, wind sounds plain and non-technical. How about "velocity"? That would be correct. Wind happens when air flows from an area of high pressure towards an area of low pressure. The wind itself is NOT pressure.
You guys might want to explain to the non-sailing or non-racing sailing viewers what the "pin end" is on the start line, since for the AC there is no committee boat on one end, but instead just 2 equal buoys.
Usually, the pin end is the port, or left side of the start line, looking from behind it up the course.

LR is much faster upwind than AM. No good performance of italian skippers in this regata. On the contrary rest of the crew was excellent in allowing good oil pressure through all race. LR won just because it is so superior upwind. Against Ineos it will be a different story. Unfortunately.
L'impressione è sempre la stessa, la barca sembra veramente molto performante, chi la pilota molto meno.
Si fanno sempre sottomettere in partenza , poi la regata diventa difficile, se non commettono ulteriori errori la barca riesce a risalire, altrimenti è disfatta.

In questo momento Ineos ha la barca migliore, più veloce che stringe meglio il vento. Luna Rossa e American Magic sono molto vicine come prestazioni, però gli italiani non riescono a fare buone partenze e sono costretti spesso a recuperare.
Oggi 2 regate emozionanti come da tempo non se ne vedevano.
