Deadline for US Sailing Youth Racing Camps Applications Extended to October 1st



US sailing is now accepting applications for their Youth Racing Camps presented by Risk Strategies. The camps will take place in Florida and California from November 23-26 & 25-27, 2024. youth sailors in various classes are invited to apply for these training camps.

For the first time, the camps will be held on both the East Coast and West Coast. The East Coast Camp will be at Miami Yacht Club in Miami, FL, while the West Coast Camp will be at Alamitos Bay Yacht Club in Long Beach, CA. The classes included in each camp are ILCA 6, Formula Kite, iQFOiL, i420, 29er, and Nacra 15.

The camps aim to bring together top youth sailors and coaches to provide a collaborative and competitive environment. US sailing coaches will lead training sessions for the athletes and coaches in each class. Interested sailors can request an invitation by October 1st to be considered for a discretionary invitation.

The camps will offer a mix of regatta competition and collaborative training, allowing sailors and coaches to try new things and receive immediate feedback. The goal is to enhance the level of focus and training for upcoming international competitions.

The 2024 US sailing Youth Racing Camps are presented by Risk Strategies, the Official marine insurance Partner of US sailing and the US sailing Team. Details, Notice of Clinic, and registration for invited sailors are available on the event registration pages.

The camps aim to provide top-level learning and competition in each region, with a focus on foiling classes like iQFOiL and Formula Kite.
