The Sandberg Estates J/70 World Championship at Real Club Náutico de Palma – Day 3 saw Yonder continuing to lead on the penultimate day of the event. The American team, led by Douglas Newhouse and Jeremy Wilmot, maintained their lead and extended it by 15 points over the second-place team. The competition on the Bay of Palma was intense, with challenging conditions and close racing among the fleet of competitors from around the world.

On the penultimate day, American team Rowdy claimed victory in the first race, while Yonder finished in second place. The second race saw the title defenders Brutus II taking the win, with Yonder securing second place once again. With these results, Yonder solidified their position at the top of the leaderboard, with a significant lead over the rest of the field.

The final day of the World Championships promises to be thrilling, with all to play for and weather conditions predicting rain throughout the day. The Sandberg Estates J/70 Worlds 2024 is organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma and the International J/70 Association, sponsored by Sandberg Estates, with the support of various institutional partners.
