Concord Pacific Racing Secures Second Place Finish to Jumpstart UniCredit Youth America’s Cup



Concord Pacific Racing’s Youth Team secured an impressive second-place finish in their first race at the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup in Barcelona. Despite challenging weather conditions and delays, the Canadian team showcased resilience and skill on the water.

Facing penalties in the pre-start, the team dropped to fifth place but swiftly maneuvered through the fleet, reaching a top speed of 15.36 knots. As the wind faded and the race was shortened, they found a crucial breeze, overtaking competitors to finish second, behind Spain.

Coach Kyle Martin praised the team’s performance, highlighting their ability to navigate tricky conditions with speed and teamwork. The result bodes well for their future races in the competition.
