22nd Rolex Swan Cup: Another Fantastic Finish

The 22nd Rolex Swan Cup came to a fantastic conclusion with a beautiful day at sea, leaving competitors eager for the next edition in 2026. The light easterly wind made for ideal racing conditions, with a coastal race for some classes and windward-leeward races for others.

Winners in their respective classes included Freya, Sea Quill, Isabella, Mascalzone Latino XXXIII, Katima, From Now On, Moonlight, Ulika, Canopo, Fra Martina, and Marcello. The coastal race followed a scenic course before finishing off Porto Cervo.

Notable victories came in the Division B S&S Classic with Isabella clinching the top spot, while other classes saw dominant performances from boats like Freya and Sea Quill. The brand new ClubSwan 28 class made its debut, with Marcello emerging as the overall winner.

In the ClubSwan 50 class, Moonlight secured a surprising win over Olymp, while the ClubSwan 36 class saw Fra Martina take the top spot. Canopo emerged victorious in the ClubSwan 42 class, and Ulika claimed the top spot in the Swan 45 class.

The prize-giving ceremony was a packed affair, with Rolex Italia CEO Stephan Müller, Nautor Swan CEO Giovanni Pomati, and YCCS Commodore Andrea Recordati in attendance. The event marked a successful partnership between Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and Rolex for 40 years.

The Rolex Swan Cup concludes a thrilling sporting season at YCCS, with more information available at www.yccs.it.
