Discover the oldest video footage of Cadet class racing dinghies in our video archive. Jack Holt designed the Cadet hull in 1947, and we have compiled early racing videos from the late fifties onwards.
The videos showcase Cadet Week at Burnham in the 1950s, with a large number of entries and sail numbers reaching the 2000s. We also have footage from the sixties, featuring Cadet class dinghies at Northampton and Parkstone YC. Moving into the seventies, we have the World Championships in Portugal in 1974 and the UK Nationals at Burnham in 1988.
If you have any earlier Cadet class racing footage from the fifties or know of any other locations, we would love to share them with the sailing community. Submit video links for review and keep watching for more exciting sailing content.
