What a fantastic day on the water at this year’s Bart’s Bash! 22 boats of all shapes and sizes participated in the race on a beautiful September day. The event started from the Club Line, with the Race Team aboard the historic HSL 102 – one of the RAF’s WWII high-speed launches. The calm winds brought everyone closer to shore with Fortuna as the committee boat, creating a joyful atmosphere with sounds of laughter across the Solent. Bart even made a grand appearance on the back of a skiff!
A big thank you to all who joined us and generously donated. Fundraising was supported by a local celebrity, and donations can still be made at www.justgiving.com/campaign/bartsbash2024.
