One of the highlights of this edition is the focus on promoting inclusion in sailing through the project ‘Women in sailing by Generali’. The aim is to increase the number of women in decision-making roles in sailing competitions.
The Barcolana will feature a variety of events, including the Barcolana Grado SUP Experience, Barcolana Beach Sprint, Barcolana Fun, Barcolana Young, and Barcolana Nuota. On the sea, there will be regattas, including Parasailing, Barcolana Maxi – Trofeo Portopiccolo, and Barcolana Solaris Adriatic Cup.
The ‘Women in sailing‘ regatta will take place on 11 October, with the ‘Generali Women in sailing Trophy’ being awarded to the first mixed team with a woman skipper to cross the finish line.
On land, the Barcolana Village will host exhibitors, sponsors, and partners, offering workshops, exhibitions, and events that promote sustainability and inclusion. Various big events, such as the Barcolana Sea Summit and literary festival, will also take place.
