The cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from boat builders and distributors to showcase their yachts at the prospective offshore sailing Academy (OSA). The Academy aims to train a new generation of offshore sailors and enhance competitive sailing skills. The OSA will offer a comprehensive learning experience for sailors aged 25-50, with a focus on yachts between 35-45 feet in length. Key considerations include yacht design, performance, safety features, cost, and suitability for the academy’s objectives. EOI submissions are due by October 21, 2024, and preferred providers will be invited to present their proposals to the CYCA’s Offshore Academy Working Group. For more information and to submit proposals, please contact Jordan Reece at jordan.reece@cyca.com.au.
