The Six Metre European Championship 2024 at Real Club Nautico de Sanxenxo – Day 2 saw challenging conditions with rain and poor visibility, but good wind. The Race Committee managed to run three races for both fleets in a brisk south-westerly.
Overall, there is a three-way tie for the lead in the Open Division, with Basil Vasiliou’s Jane Ann, Rainer Muller’s Junior, and Henrik Andersin’s Oiva leading the pack. In the Classic Division, His Majesty King Juan Carlos of Spain’s Bribon and Ossi Paija’s Astree III are battling for the top spot.
In the Open Division, Jane Ann, Junior, and Oiva are leading the pack, while Bribon and Astree III are dominating the Classic Division. Four races remain in the series, with tight competition expected until the end.
