The Notts County sailing Club hosted a singlehander open meeting on 28-29 September 2024, featuring RS600, Aero, and Solo classes. The event attracted over forty boats, with the Solos having the largest fleet at the Allen Midland Area Solo Championship.
In the RS600 class, local national Champion Jamie Mawson dominated the races despite a rocky start, ultimately clinching victory. The Aeros class saw close competition, with youth sailor Hayden Moore emerging as the top performer. The Solos class witnessed competitive racing, with Steve Ede from Brightlingsea claiming the top spot.
