The OK Class Youth Championship at South Staffordshire sailing Club took place on 12 October 2024. The day started with a brief delay due to light winds and heavy rain. Once the racing began, competitors faced shifting conditions, with Oliver Goodhead ultimately winning the first race.
In race 2, Olly Hateley took advantage of a significant shift to claim first place. Oliver Goodhead went on to secure the overall victory and the title of OK Youth Champion. The final race saw challenging windy conditions, with Goodhead again dominating to take another win.
Prize winners included Oliver Goodhead as the Overall and OK Youth National Champion, followed by Olly Hateley in second place and Jack Hodgkins in third. Kamila Czartolomna was the top female sailor. The event was a success, with thanks to all involved, including HD Sails for providing prizes.
