Adrien Bernier Nadeau awarded Sail Canada 2023 Instructor of the Year by Checklick



Adrien Bernier Nadeau has been named the Sail Canada 2023 Instructor of the Year, presented by Checklick. This prestigious award recognizes instructors who excel in teaching sailing skills, exhibit fairness and respect, and go above and beyond in their role. Adrien, hailing from Baie-des-Chaleurs, Quebec, has shown passion, dedication, and a commitment to promoting sailing in Quebec.

Starting as a sailing instructor at age 15, Adrien took a break to focus on his engineering career before returning full-time to the sport in 2019. Alongside his wife, he founded “La Belle Vie sailing,” Quebec’s first school specializing in liveaboard catamaran cruising. Adrien holds advanced certifications from Sail Canada and has logged over 40,000 nautical miles.

As an entrepreneur, Adrien has spearheaded initiatives to promote sailing and has received numerous awards for his contributions to the sport. His entrepreneurial spirit and love for sailing have led to the creation of unique projects and opportunities.
