Aegean Regatta 2024 Leg 2 Overall Results
Tilos welcomed the sailing boats participating in the Aegean Regatta, an international sailing race held for the 23rd time in the stunning blue waters of the Aegean Sea.
On the morning of Wednesday, August 21, the boats set sail from Nisyros, taking advantage of favorable westerly winds that reached speeds of 12-15 knots, successfully completing the second leg of the regatta in Tilos.
A thrilling competition unfolded in the ORC Performance category, with the top five boats finishing within a four-minute timeframe after time corrections, ultimately leading to Vorras securing the victory.

The prize ceremony for the winners of the second sailing race was held in the evening of the same day at Livadia, Tilos. The sailing boats are set to depart for Halki, the next stop of the Aegean Regatta.
The Aegean Regatta 2024 is organized by the General Secretariat for the Aegean and Island Policy in collaboration with the Hellenic Sailing Federation and the Hellenic Offshore Committee (H.S.F / H.O.C.). Various sailing clubs of the Aegean islands, including the Mytilene Sailing Club, LOIATH, PEKEV, Chios Sailing Club, and Samos Sailing Club, are participating and assisting in the organization, with ASIATH Rhodes serving as the coordinating club for 2024.
