Aspen has been announced as the title sponsor of the inaugural Aspen Bermuda Women’s Match Racing regatta, to be held alongside the 71st Bermuda Gold Cup from 29 October to 3 November in Hamilton Harbour. This event will feature top female sailors from around the world, including world rank #2 Anna Östling and defending Women’s World Match Racing Tour champion Pauline Courtois. The regatta will offer a prize purse of USD 40,000, the highest on the women’s tour in 2024.

The event is a significant step towards promoting women in sailing and fostering camaraderie among female sailors. Defending champion Johnie Berntsson, world rank #1 Chris Poole, and 2022 Match Racing World Champion Nick Egnot-Johnson are among the confirmed skippers for this prestigious event.
