Bainbridge International is thrilled to announce its new role as the exclusive distributor of Zhik branded apparel for the UK and Ireland.
Zhik is recognized as one of the world’s leading marine apparel companies, offering high-performance gear suitable for a range of activities, from Optimist sailing to participation in top-tier events like SailGP and ocean racing.
Bainbridge International has established a solid reputation as a leading distributor of marine products in the UK, boasting a portfolio of prestigious brands. The directors and staff at Bainbridge are long-time users and advocates of the Zhik brand, which makes this collaboration a natural and effective fit.
The Bainbridge team will officially commence the distribution of Zhik products starting in September 2024. They will maintain stock to fulfill dealer orders throughout the remainder of 2024 and will work closely with Zhik to ensure that Spring 2025 products are ordered and ready for shipment.
Tristan Hutt, who has previously managed the Zhik brand in the UK, will transition to Bainbridge as Brand and Sales Manager while continuing to focus on product development at Zhik International. This collaborative approach is set to enhance both product quality and customer service for UK dealers and consumers.
Mat Belcher, CEO of Zhik, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of focusing on the growing UK market and valuing the stability and growth that Tristan’s role will provide.
