Catapult TT at Kielder Water Sailing Club: A Seo-Friendly Racing Event



The Catapult fleet gathered at Kielder Water sailing Club for their September TT as part of a Dinghy Open event. Race conditions were challenging with shifty winds and persistent rain. Gareth Ede dominated the races, winning five out of six, followed by John Terry in second place. George Evans secured third place overall.

– Race 1 saw Gareth overtaking Stuart and John for the win.
– In Race 2, a wind shift favored Gareth and George, with John making a strong comeback.
– Race 3 saw John holding off Gareth for the win.
– Gareth secured a massive lead in Race 4, winning by a significant margin.
– Races 5 and 6 were tightly contested, with Gareth narrowly clinching victory in both.

In the Jon Montgomery Travellers Trophy, Gareth claimed the top spot, while in the Alastair Forrest Personal Handicap, George took the lead on handicap. Stuart and John also had strong showings in both series.
