The Cornerstone Cup, a new event initiated by St. Francis Yacht Club, is designed as a team racing regatta featuring their fleet of matched J/22 one-design sailboats. Invitation-only, this year’s competition included three teams from St. Francis YC, New York YC, and Royal Thames YC from London, England.
Over three exhilarating days of intense team racing held against the scenic waterfront view from the expansive balconies of StFYC, the host club emerged victorious in this year’s Cornerstone Cup! Team StFYC consisted of Shawn Bennett, Joe McCoy, McKenzie Wilson, Sam White, Molly Carpet, Jeff Holder, Helen Lord, and Rosalind Meade. New York YC secured the second position, with Royal Thames YC finishing in third place.
