The 2024 RS21 World Championship will be held in L’Escala, Spain from September 21st to 28th. Club Nàutic L’Escala will host the event, welcoming around 200 sailors from 14 different countries for eight days of thrilling competition and fun.

The RS21 keelboat, known for its sustainable design, will be the star of the championship. With its bio-derived resins, recycled materials, and electric motor, the RS21 offers both performance and eco-friendliness. Teams from 11 nations, including Spain, Great Britain, and the United States, will compete in the event.

The regatta will feature training days, official races, and social events, providing a full week of excitement on and off the water. The championship is committed to sustainability, with initiatives to reduce waste, conserve water, and protect the environment. Additionally, the event will engage local students in volunteer activities to promote community involvement and citizenship.

Organized by Club Nàutic L’Escala and the RS21 International Class, with support from various sailing federations and local authorities, the 2024 RS21 World Championship promises to be a competitive and responsible event.
