The Gstaad Yacht Club Centenary Trophy is just 10 days away, set to take place on October 3rd during the Voiles de Saint-Tropez. This 13th edition will feature over twenty competitors, promising a majestic display of century-old yachts. The event, organized in collaboration with the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, has become a highlight of the sailing calendar, known for its pursuit race format that creates an equal playing field for all participants.
A highlight of the event will be the debut of three yachts in 2024: Arrow, Lona II, and Class P Joyant, each with its own unique history and design. Past winners like Olympian and Oriole will also be vying for victory in this prestigious regatta.
The Gstaad Yacht Club will also host a Swiss Night on October 2nd at Place des Lices, showcasing Switzerland with various activities and traditional Alpine specialties. Additionally, the Centenarian Award, presented to boats over 100 years old, adds another layer of excitement to the event.
