Craftinsure K6 National Championship 2024 took place at Royal Lymington Yacht Club from 13-15 September 2024. The event, sponsored by Craftinsure, saw nine races held over three days in light wind conditions.

On the first day, despite a delayed start due to little or no wind, a sea breeze allowed racing to commence. George and Bertie Barker emerged victorious in the first race, closely followed by Lawrence Crispin and Hector Cisneros. The competition was fierce throughout the fleet, with various teams vying for top positions.

As the event progressed, different teams claimed victories in subsequent races, showcasing the competitive nature of the championship. Heading into the final day, only one point separated the top two teams, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion.

In the end, Team Barker secured the championship title after a thrilling final race, narrowly beating Lawrence and Hector to the top spot. The competition was intense, with close racing and unexpected conditions making for an exciting event overall.

The championship showcased tight racing and exceptional skill from the participating teams, with anticipation building for the 2025 Nationals at Stone SC.
