Italian shipyard Codecasa has delivered Gioia, the sixth unit in its Codecasa 43 series. The 43-metre superyacht has departed from the yard’s facilities in Viareggio, Italy and is now anchored in Saint Tropez.

Work on the 43-metre project began on speculation in April 2022, with the owner joining the build during an advanced stage of construction. Gioia’s most recent sistership is Boji, which was launched in 2022.

The exterior of Gioia is characterized by strong lines, a classic vertical bow, and a gunmetal grey finish by Codecasa’s technical staff. All naval architecture has been designed in-house to Lloyds Class specifications.

Interiors of Gioia have been styled by Cor D. Rover, featuring two light-filled saloons, four large guest cabins, and an owner’s suite located forward on the main deck. Crew accommodation consists of four twin cabins with separate captain’s quarters. The spacious exterior areas, including the sundeck with a Jacuzzi, are also a highlight.

Key numbers for Gioia include an internal volume just below 500GT, a nine-meter beam, and 2.6-meter draught. The yacht is equipped with two Caterpillar engines, propelling her to a top speed of 16 knots with a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots.

Earlier this year, Codecasa also delivered a 23.9-meter “gentleman’s yacht” named Vero to a buyer in Asia.
