The UniCredit Youth America’s Cup kicked off with exhilarating racing on Day 1 in Barcelona. Delayed by light winds, the regatta finally got underway in the evening with strong breezes and challenging sea conditions. The young sailors showcased their skills with thrilling spin-outs, high speeds, and intense competition.
Italy’s Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team dominated the first race, while NYYC American Magic fought back in the second race to claim victory. The standings are tight at the top, with both teams tied on points. Exciting races are on the horizon, with four races scheduled for the next day.
