The launch of the new boat is scheduled for early 2026, showcasing the team’s long-term commitment to offshore sailing. By participating in The Ocean Race 2027, the team aims to promote cultural diversity and intergenerational exchange in offshore racing. Established in 2018, DMG MORI sailing Team, led by Skipper Kojiro Shiraishi, has successfully competed in Vendée Globe 2020. The team also operates the DMG MORI sailing Academy to nurture young talent in offshore sailing.
