Marega is five points ahead of France’s Laurent Hay, with Valerian Lebrun in third. The event features 152 sailors from 22 nations and is set to be the biggest Finn European Championship ever. The conditions on the first day were perfect, with sunny skies, 10-14 knots of wind, and nice waves. Marega and Lebrun shone in their respective groups, with Marega winning all three races in the Yellow group and Lebrun taking two race wins in the Blue group. Racing continues with two races scheduled for the next day.
