The 2024 J/70 Worlds recently took place in Palma, Spain, with American team Yonder emerging victorious after five days of intense racing. The Louis Vuitton Semi Finals saw Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli defeat New York Yacht Club American Magic, advancing to the Louis Vuitton Cup Final. The upcoming LVC Finals will feature Luna Rossa facing INEOS Britannia for a chance to challenge Emirates Team New Zealand in the America’s Cup. Meanwhile, the IC37 and Hobie 16 North Americans showcased competitive sailing in Newport, Rhode Island, and Rowayton, Connecticut, respectively. Franciso Figueroa and Faith Payne claimed victory in the Hobie 16 North Americans. Stay tuned for more exciting sailing action as the season progresses.
