Last-minute preparations are underway in Palma for the Sandberg Estates J/70 Worlds, scheduled from September 13-22, 2024. The registration and measurement process is currently taking place at the Porto Pi Naval Base, with the organising team working diligently to ensure everything is ready for the competition.

The fleet is engaged in the measurement and registration process, supported by the Spanish Navy and the Naval regatta Commission. The Real Club Náutico de Palma and the International Association of the J/70 class are working together to manage this logistical challenge.

With various stations set up at the naval base, boats are being checked for sails, keel, rudder, and other equipment in preparation for the Worlds. Teams go through the measuring process and, once completed, return their boats to the club.

A hundred boats are expected to complete the measurement process by Monday, September 16th. The event is being organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma and the International J/70 Class Association, with sponsorship from Sandberg Estates and collaboration from several institutions.
