Fireball European Championship at Unione Velica Maccagno in Italy
The Fireball European Championship at Unione Velica Maccagno – Day 4 took place on September 14-20, 2024. Sailors enjoyed a competitive day of racing with four races scheduled. Race five saw Claude and Ruedi clinch the win, while DJ & Vyv maintained their lead on the leaderboard with a 2nd place finish. In race six, Xavier Broise & Trystan Robin emerged victorious, with DJ Edwards and Vyv Townend securing another 2nd place. As the day progressed, the wind conditions varied, leading to a challenging race for the competitors. Despite the fluctuating winds, the UK team maintained a strong overall lead.
