The first interior images of SES Yachts’ 32.7-metre Far Niente have been revealed following her delivery in June 2024.

Her round-bilged hull, wood panelling, and classic lines are inspired by the “Dutch herring luggers of the early 1900s”. Naval architecture, exterior, and interior design are credited to Hoek Design Naval Architects, known for their work on Turquoise Yachts’ steamship-style Blue II.

“Once again we have combined the timeless and elegant good looks of a classic motor yacht design with a fully optimized, hi-tech underwater body shape, using all the modern design programming we now have at our disposal,” said designer Andre Hoek.

Far Niente’s fuel-efficient hull design is the result of “extensive optimization” using Hoek Design’s computational fluid dynamics programs (CFD). Accommodation on board includes five cabins, with an additional three cabins allocated for crew. Interiors feature a contemporary design with grey-washed oak and white paneling, complemented by traditional deck heads and timber beams.

On deck, highlights include a television lounge leading to a covered sundeck with dining facilities. Far Niente is capable of storing two tenders on her foredeck, launched and retrieved using a retractable crane. The yacht has a range of 3,750 nautical miles and a maximum speed of 11 knots, equipped with Sleipner stabilizers for added comfort and bow and stern thrusters for maneuverability.

Far Niente is available for charter with Classic Charters. Royal Hakvoort also announced the construction of a 45-meter hybrid superyacht in collaboration with Hoek Design, with the hull recently launched.
