Italian yard Rossinavi has revealed the full interiors of the 42.8-metre Seawolf X following her debut at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. The hybrid-electric catamaran is Rossinavi’s “most innovative project to date” and is currently moored in Viareggio, Italy.

Exterior design is by Fulvio De Simoni yacht design, marking the first project presented by the pair since the 49.1-metre Aurora in 2017. It also marks Rossinavi’s first multihull project. Meanwhile, New York-based design firm Meyer Davis has created the interiors, drawing inspiration from nature to bring relaxed luxury and sustainable design to the forefront.

“Seawolf X provided us with the opportunity to create something truly different for the yacht world – a catamaran that is elegantly designed but grounded in Sustainability,” said Will Meyer, co-founder of Meyer Davis. The decor takes inspiration from the sun, the sea, and sand, with subtle, refined touches that make the spaces feel welcoming and sophisticated.

A key characteristic of the model is her three “performance scenarios” which allow for full-electric cruising on one-day trips, 90% electric cruising on multi-day trips, and 80% electric cruising on transatlantic trips. Additionally, the catamaran features a hibernation mode when moored to reduce consumption, with the ability to give back energy to the quay or a private property.

The onboard artificial intelligence system, Rossinavi AI, monitors the vessel’s operation, predicts guest needs, and communicates with the crew on sustainable behaviors. The catamaran’s exterior is low-profiled and sports car-inspired, with integrated solar panels and lightweight solutions for enhanced efficiency.

Leisure highlights include a convivial cockpit, an expansive sundeck, and a bow area with a hidden pool and convertible home theatre. Accommodation is provided for up to 10 guests in four cabins located in the hulls.

“After years of study and construction, it is now a source of satisfaction and pride for us to witness the launch of project Sea Cat, now Seawolf X,” said Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi. The vessel showcases remarkable technological innovations in power management and propulsion technologies, setting a new standard for next-generation vessels.

Seawolf X also carries the BlUE label, the shipyard’s sustainable design philosophy, which creates a bioluminescent effect inspired by phytoplankton. The catamaran is available for charter with Cecil Wright from €380,000 per week.
