The Italian/American sailor sees a strong connection between unified teams and effective climate action. She emphasizes the importance of creating an inclusive environment in sports and advocating for climate justice.
Through her “BELIEVE, BELONG, ACHIEVE” campaign, Clapcich is conducting research on how belief and belonging optimize achievement in sailing and contribute to effective climate action. The campaign also includes training programs and workshops focused on building effective teams through belief and belonging.

Looking ahead, Clapcich’s sporting goals include racing in the Ocean Fifty Series and participating in the Puig Women’s America’s Cup. She aspires to race in the 2028 Vendée Globe, aiming to compete in all the major sailing events.
