The RS500 fleet recently competed in the Inland Championship at Grafham Water sailing Club on 5th October 2024. The event saw exciting racing in comfortable winds, with Peter Curtis and Martyn Denchfield emerging as overall champions. They were followed closely by Thomas Leather and Maeve Hall in second place, and Bob Preston and Isla Preston in joint second. The competition was fierce, with close battles throughout the fleet and some intense downwind sailing. The event concluded with a fantastic curry night at the club, where sailors shared tips and camaraderie. The next event for the RS500 fleet is the RS End Of Seasons at Rutland SC on 2/3 November.
