J/Domination at Breskens Sailing Weekend

This past weekend, the Jachthaven Breskens hosted the highly anticipated end-of-summer regatta, the Breskens Sailing Weekend.
This event attracted several J/Boats teams from the Netherlands and the Benelux region. The regatta featured exciting windward-leeward races just offshore from the harbor entrance.
ORC 1 Division
In a competitive fleet of a dozen boats, Rutger Krijger’s J/112E JACK RABBIT triumphed, finishing with a total of 19.5 points after seven races.
ORC 2 Division
Jan Scholze’s J/99 WARP 5 led the way in this thirteen-boat fleet, securing first place with 14 points. The experienced offshore team of Arjen van Leeuwin’s J/109 JOULE followed closely in second place, finishing with 19.5 points.
ORC 3 Division
Representing this eleven-boat fleet, Rene van Quekelberghe’s J/97 JAI HO earned a silver medal with 11.5 points, while Dimitri Vanvyve’s J/105 JUGGERNAUT secured the bronze medal with 18.5 points.
