The K1 Scottish Championship at Loch Lomond sailing Club, sponsored by Ovington Boats and Craftinsure, took place on 5-6 October 2024. The K1 fleet enjoyed ideal sailing conditions at one of their favorite venues, with winds ranging from 8-20 knots throughout the weekend. The event featured close match racing and exciting tactics on the water.
Jeremy Hudson emerged as the champion, followed by Richard Sims in second place and Fergus Duncanson in third. The overall standings in the traveler series are tied between Richard and Jeremy, setting the stage for an exciting showdown at the final event at Broxbourne sailing Club on 26th October.
The event was well-received by participants, with praise for the hospitality and friendly atmosphere at Loch Lomond sailing Club.
