Doyle Sails customers achieved remarkable success at the prestigious Hamilton Island Race Week, Australia’s premier regatta. The RP66 ALIVE celebrated victory by securing the overall win in the IRC Gold Division, showcasing a thrilling competition against local favorites.
Professional sailor and Doyle Sails expert Justin Ferris was part of the triumphant ALIVE crew. He expressed his excitement about the event, stating, “It’s been an incredible week for the young crew on ALIVE. We assembled a group of young match racing sailors, trained them to race a Mini Maxi, and triumphed over the experienced Wild Oats team.” Ferris also praised the event, remarking, “We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better venue. Hamilton Island is a world-class event, and it provided the perfect opportunity to test our new Square Top Furling Staysail, which made its debut on ALIVE this week.”
