Race Week 2 of the Hamble Winter Series featured two days of racing for the Hamble IRC Autumn Championship, sponsored by Key yachting. The weather forecast presented challenges, resulting in the cancellation of racing on Sunday due to light winds. However, Saturday saw three exciting races take place with competitive action across the IRC classes.
In Race 1, Mako claimed victory in IRC 1, while Arcus and Liquidity Risk 11 secured wins in IRC 2 and IRC 3 respectively. Ross Bowdler’s Open 7.50, Cool Runnings, stood out in IRC 1, showcasing impressive performance.
Race 2 and Race 3 on Saturday provided thrilling competition, with Cool Runnings emerging as the overall winner in IRC 1. Arcus and Whooper also secured victories in IRC 2 and IRC 3, demonstrating their skills on the water.
